Keith Bonin is the Associate Provost for Research and Scholarly Inquiry at Wake Forest University. Keith earned his B.S. degree in Physics from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Ph.D. in Physics/Optics from the University of Maryland. Following a one-year postdoc and seven years on the faculty in the Department of Physics at Princeton University, he joined the Wake Forest Faculty in the Department of Physics in 1992. He has taught nearly every course at the undergraduate level and his recent research has been in biophysics related to optogenetics, drug discovery, and the physics of cancer. He is currently a member of the Center for Molecular Signaling at Wake Forest, and is collaborating with two different groups at Wake Forest Health Sciences.
